My Mother always used parsley for garnishing meat or vegetable platters.  She never failed to make a production out of eating it and saying that it was good for the body.  Well, turns out, she knew what she was talking about.

I have recently been making a vegetable/protein drink every morning instead of a fruit drink.  I have been adding parsley and I can really taste the clean earthiness of it.  So I have done a little research.  

First and foremost, parsley helps to purify the blood.  It contains many anti-oxidant nutrients.   It is said to improve cardiovascular health and arthritis.  One google search gave me the idea of making my own parsley water.
