Body Scan

Yesterday afternoon I had a full-body scan as a follow-up to the radio-active iodine therapy I received 11.2.2012.   I went to the Nuclear Radiology Dept of KU Med for this scan.  It took 45 minutes, but it was not an uncomfortable 45 minutes.  Afterwards, however, my anxiety was in high gear.

The highlight of the day was the lifting of the super-restrictive diet.   I had been giving this some thought all week and decided to celebrate and go to Brisols, have a glass of Chardonnay and a  plate of scallops.  I even sat at the bar!!
