The second theme identified in my Clifton assessment is called Intellection.
You like to think. You like mental activity. You are the kind of person who enjoys your time alone because it is your time for musing and reflection. You are introspective. In a sense you are your own best companion. The introspection may lead you to a slight sense of discontent as you compare what you are actually doing with all the thoughts and ideas that your mind conceives. This mental hum is one of the constants in your life.
Many years ago, I read a humorous musing about men and women by Dave Barry, a nationally known syndicated columnist. He contended that when a woman asks her man “What are you thinking, dear?” that the man’s answer of “Nothing, sweetheart” is absolutely truthful!! Barry made me laugh out loud as he described that sometimes a man is really thinking about absolutely nothing. To a woman, this is impossible. We cannot even conceive of thinking about nothing………………..
I do think too much sometimes, but it is my modus operandi.
